Positive Material Identification (PMI)

Positive Material Identification (PMI) is one of the non-destructive techniques used to verify material conformance, by assessing chemical composition of metallic engineering alloys to a fairly good degree of accuracy.

We have some of the most advanced “state of the art” PMI equipments in India. Being portable, and XRF type, in-situ inspections are very possible.

PMI or Positive Material Identification is very important in construction activities to ensure use of correct material to avoid premature shop and field failures.
